Team Tennessee Pre Makes History

The 2025 running of the CrossKnox 15k & 4-Miler will be remembered for the greatest comeback in KTC Grand Prix Team Competition history. Entering what was the last race of the season, Team Tennessee Pre was in second place and trailing by 24.5 points (894 to 869.5).
Turnout and talent keyed the surge at CrossKnox which allowed Team Tennessee Pre to outscore the opposition by 26 pointsand claim the 2025 team title by 1.5 points!!!
Top finisher for the team and Overall Female Winner in the 15k race was Katie Baksa with a standout performance as she clocked 53:52. Also recording top finishes in a competitive women’s field were Elizabeth Herndon, Debbie Allen, Hannah Reymond, Elizabeth Whelpley, Kris Corbitt, Marian Schmidt, and Shirley Sirois.
In the Men’s 15k, Paul Scheyler led the way with a Master’s title as he finished in 58:21, followed by Kevin McDonnell, Bill Beecher, Bradley Adams, Hiromu Kurosaki, and Ken Sirois.
Shawn Campbell led the team in the 4- Miler as he cruised to a dominating Overall win in 24:33. Grandmaster winners were Anthony Span and Angela Sellars with Kelly Davis (1st AG) and Jennifer Moore (2nd AG) scoring much needed points for the team.
